Dear proud dog owner…

It wasn’t so long ago that I journeyed off to go and get a companion for my other little pooch at home.  With good intentions at heart and with much enthusiasm, I unfortunately soon found myself left in dismay, when it became clear exactly to what extent an unruly dog could wreak havoc on my personal life.  

I thought I was doing good not just for my other dog, but this one as well that I had recently rescued and planned on re-homing into a settled and nurturing environment.  Alas, the problems were to numerous and the dogs behaviour wasn’t improving; would often be erratic, unpredictable and uncontrollable.  It was concerning and embarrassing at times, especially on occasions family would be visiting the house.  In short the dog would not stop barking unless he received the invitation to jump all over you, licking you and dirtying the furniture in the process.  He wouldn’t listen to any instruction, would frequently try to mount ‘THE great escape’ and could sometimes become irritable if he wasn’t getting as much attention as the other dogs (and children for that matter).  All these issues were further compounded by occasional lead pulling, which was straining for me and of course concerning for the dogs welfare.

It seemed he had every problem under the sun and I needed more than just a first-class trainer, I needed something; a blue print, resources/support that was accessible from anywhere, non-stressful, easy to follow and an effective long term fix for a long term companion. I didn’t have to wait long, I found something that ticked all these boxes and was actually fun and engaging.

Now, going forward a few months, the dogs behaviour is completely transformed and my other pooch and him are getting along just fine.  Family and friends are stoked by the quick reversal in what was problematic behaviour and I even seem like some sort of pariah now, also to top it all off there is much less house cleaning to do!   It would have never been possible if I hadn’t had found an amazing program that through mental stimulation, develops a dog that is more open and receptive to training, whilst furthermore being happier and healthier (a far cry from one that ends up bored, anxious and under stimulated) A dog confidently displaying high intelligence was the end goal and it is with this foundation of intelligence, that became the cornerstone in dissolving many bad behaviours once and for all
